iPenstore.com Top 5 List: Most Popular Rollerball Pens

Rollerball pens are renowned for their smoothness and ability to easily glide over paper with little force needed. Just like a ballpoint refill, a rollerball uses a tiny ball on the point to transfer ink to paper. However, unlike a ballpoint, which uses oil-based (or gel-based) ink, a rollerball uses water-based ink, which is less viscous. The thinner ink allows for smoother ink flow and for the ink to saturate more deeply and more widely into paper than the thicker ballpoint inks.

At iPenstore.com, we sell over 100 different rollerball pens and refills, so choosing the right one may not always be easy. To help simplify things, we've compiled a list of our top 5 rollerball pens. Choosing the top 5 wasn't easy. To narrow down our list, we surveyed customers and staff, and combed through years of user reviews. We combined that information with sales data, and came up with our list.
